The Hurt Locker

Where we discuss Movies and TV shows, while some people make a big song and dance about how they never watch "the Idiot Box", but have an apparantly encyclopedic Knowledge of Adverts...and some bi-polar maniac exposes his weird quasi-sexual obsession with Bill Oddie.

The Hurt Locker

I watched this with high hopes. After all, a woman made it!!!!

It was shit, though.

If you want to see a good film about Yanks in the desert, see 'Jarhead' - it was made by Kate Winslets hubby and he's good, him.

One might argue the only time it's ever any fun to be Catholic is when you're dead.

I heard people raving about The Hurt Locker at the weekend but since Iraq is just Vietnam II I couldn't feign interest.

I watched it on blu ray on my lovely fat telly and thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't seen jarhead all the way through but Hurt Locker was excellent. The scene where they're taking out the Iraqi's in the bunker is superb.

Compared to the sedate life on Walton's Mountain I dare say it was exciting outing for you.

I've been blind. it is major scary to just sit there being helpless and see absolutely nothing.

Me too, in Amsterdam. A head rush that lasted 15 minutes, I could just see whiteness and hear the bells from bikes whizzing by as I sat slumped on the kerb. Great times.
