House of Spam – We Care

Due to our essential idleness we decided to vanish for three years and leave our original website in a state of abject disrepair, think of it a bit like when Dylan had his Motorcycle accident, except without the talent, the motorcycle and the hook nose Jewish tendencies..So in order to sort the timeline out, cue the voice over that says “previously on JRI”, and we shall enjoy the fact that the last piece we put up before fucking off was about how we care.

The Man is gone – John Martyn

On the 29th of January 2009, John Martyn died.
It is one of the many events we missed when we were slumming about offline…
At the time we put up an official House of Spam Memorial post on the forums.
I’m reposting it here and now because i can and it seems like a piece of Bloody mindedness the big man would have enjoyed.
You might think it’s a load of soppy old wank, but i suggest you save it for your memoirs as we don’t care.
